yesterday evening after work my mom and I sat at the dining table. out of sudden, mom said,'I wonder why so many doctors get married with most of the nurses??' she automatically answered by herself,'Now I get it why, the doctors always busy and the only person that around them were the nurses!'

I just kept quiet and wondered...what about the lecturers? xxx

the DIY wedding invitation card

No it is not my wedding precisely. It is for my younger brother wedding coming this September after Raya. Well, I was appointed automatically as the wedding planner and all the expenses will be covered by me. So, due to a very tight budget wedding plan, I decided to make and design his invitation card by myself. so far I bought 220gsm A4 size cream manila paper for 100 sheet cost me about RM 16.00 and 300pcs white envelopes for RM 22.00. Total will be Rm36.00.

(Actually I've already bought Ivory Artcard 220gsm paper but due to its cost much expensive than the manila card, so I decide to keep this lovely artcard anyway..)

So, the first plan is to divide the A4 size paper into 3 equal size (in portrait orientation) and now I have 3 cards! simple isn't it? Then I just put out the usual wording inside the front page for invitation and the back page for the map of location. Here it goes, my lovely DIY simple invitation card.

I wondering why people really care to give an expensive cards which anyhow will kept in the rubbish bin after the ceremony. Not to offend other people's way but for me it is really a great way of waste. Maybe I care so much about my money and to save the planet.

Almost a month ago I rarely did not care to blog anymore. Busy with works and holiday perhaps. But then, here we go.,my dad,mom and I went to Kota Kinabalu for 6 days there. We spent 5 nights not only just staying in KK, but we spent a night in Kundasang and another night in Sandakan and the rest of the nights we bump into a good friend of mine place. You are lucky enough for the sake of accomodation budget if you are in vacation mood right?? I am blessed to have friends almost all over the world. This is what friend for..I am not taking any advantage here but to appreciate our meaningful friendship that have been built years ago..enough babbling here..

It took some time to update this bloq of mine. I wish I will be like ladyinlondon, travel around the world and update her blog almost everyday. She is a lucky woman can join most prestigious event sometimes been invited to have a free accommodation in resorts and hotels.

But the truth is people have their own life to be proud with..

So here I am staying in a homestay sharing with the students for LIMA 2011 exhibition represent our beloved polytechnic from 4th until 11th of December 2011. We just got back from MIEC, Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre, tidy up and prepare our own booth nicely.

November

It is 2nd day of November..I am here relaxing while browsing in front of my netbook in an office situated somewhere in Subang Airport. 3 weeks to go until my final semester students finishing their precious practical time before they all graduate.

not that all, my mom is away with my second brother far in the national park somewhere in Kelantan. Same goes to my youngest brother absentee his secondary school to spend his quality after exam time in the forest. I cannot imagine if I were in the national park or jungle or forest more than a week. Wondering how much I will lose weight then.

So here I am with dad at home more than 1 week. Its fun actually live with my dad because currently we are busying to install aircond in my messy. Almost 2K I spent shopping aircond parts..will update later..

Fasting month

almost 9 days in a row I managed to complete our fasting month, Ramadan.

and last night we received a good news from the government for the government staff which is a half month bonus for this month.thanks big boss!
