live music and chilling time! me? I just taking pictures and seat at the corner while enjoying the music..

Last night on 24th April 2008, right after coming back from class as usual..(well, it was unusual for that particular gloomy raining day, all of us stood and wait at the bus stop for 1 and 1/2 hour from 8.30am...from wet cloth until i had a dried and hot skin..and the bus finally came)Guess what, in my class, only Imad n me that patient to keep waiting (it is because the exam that getting closer of course, if not, i will turn back to my room and sleep)So, gladly, we arrived at Barry College at 10.30am. Well, not much people turn up in class(just 3 students!anuar, imad and me) and its time for breakfast..(How happy I am if everyday the class will start at 10.30am which mean we go for a breakfast first and then continue a normal class..haha) After having a BIG breakfast like cheese n toast with baked beans,an egg,2 hash browns,a vege sausage and a delicious cup of expressochoc (which total GBP 2.25 and I knew, I will miss this kind of english breakfast when I return to my hometown in 3 years time), 3 of us having a chat, making jokes, laugh, doing some revision, and watching a hindi movie in class..crazy huh?? But at least I did open my book and read rather than sleep in the room and doing nothing..

Ok enough about what have I done during the whole day, suddenly I just remembered that the International Student Support Services got an event with the Rhondda Rotary Club at 7pm so, while hanging around at the college, I asked Imad to go together, to chill out and enjoy meeting the people there..and of course, free food and musics! It was so fun and I really enjoy the night and thanks to Mr President, who did a card trick to me..(well, at least it can make u feel better with this kind of social event, rite?)later after that, we gratefully thanks to the Rotarians, fetch the provided bus and off to campus at 11.00pm.

am I colour blind..??

In exam mood, I watched Malaysian made advert in youtube just now. It keep me smiling and thinking other things while struggling.. It would be nice if people around the world are just like him, a liltle normal school boy who doesn't care with whom he making friends or should I say girlfriend?? hehe.. Life is sweet like eating ice cream in the middle of hot, sweat 30 degrees afternoon right? Owh.. I really missed that good old time while driving and licking my favourite McDonald chocolate sundae on my way back home..(Please do not do this in your car, I already figure out this dangerous action will tend to distract your focus while driving!!hehe..) Anyway, enjoy this clip..I luv it soo much, a distraction on my study...

Same me, just different zip code

Heard about this tagline before?? Well, this tagline, "same me,just different zip code" in a movie title Perfect Man. It was a story about a teenage girl (like me.hehe) kept moving from one place to another place if her mother, a single parent had a heart broken with another man. But, its different with my situation here (huh, I'm not the single mother that always been dumped with another man..huh..you cannot count on them, trust me..love is not to be hurt..if not, don't fall in love..) In my situation as a full time student that fully sponsored by the government, I realized, I am doing a BIG sacrifice not just to me, but to my beloved family (being the only daughter, trust me, is always hard to convinced my mom, that I'm okay here and ALWAYS be careful wherever I go, as the only big sister to my liltle brother, Ali, who always bullying me, begging for things every time I got salary, his face will turn like Puss in movie, Shrek), my responsible ( I know by quiting my previous job, I got a lot of things to pay and do still now, I separate my allowance earlier to pay them), my beloved and crazy friends (always hang out with them, watch movie, window shopping, jogging, swimming, eating char keteow at Kerinchi in the middle of the nite...etc).When I decided to pursue my study in United Kingdom, everything changed..you know..( I am not telling the whole story here..then I will be famous and rich author like Cecelia Ahern or Sophie Kinsella..hehe..kidding, but who knows right???)

Well, this is my choice and I have to face it..I left all of them in my country, but the memories remain here, in my heart..always..I know as time pass by, we are getting older and I missed a beautiful moment like my best friend wedding last february, my family moved to a new house in Kundang that I could not help to pack things, my brother bought a new car that I don't had a chance to have a ride while he drive, my aunt had operation that I could not visit her, just a video conference to say take care. And me, stuck here with different kind of people, new friends, old friends, being an international student miles away from a place called HOME. Yes, it is a big oppurtinity to be here. I've learn their culture, style, english accent, and everything..including to tour whole Europe that what I had be dreaming before (it can be done during my term break).

3 years abroad is not a big deal right? All I have to do is complete the course (oh I hate exams and assignments!), tour whole europe, and most important, shopping (that what I love most!) or (maybe if I meet a prince charming that I've been dreaming before, so why not?? hehe) Don't worry, this is the same me (maybe loss several kilos), just with different zip code.

Till then folks, I got Module 3 assignment and exam due on next week. Every miliseconds count..tick tock..

A Delightable Happy day!

For a while I did not update my blog here, I am very busy with exam that will held on Friday next week. Its Module 3, Electrical Fundamentals, sounds like easy subject right? but trust me, according to the previous result of this module, only 2 student pass the exam. Its scary right? well, thats another matter, what I should do is that, keep study hard, do the questions bank, read the book..bla.bla..(normal thing huh) but still, the question is quit tough..

Oh nevermind, today I am so lazy to go to class, its Monday blue, like Mike used to say to us..As I opened my email, I was so surprised that I received an email from my boss, telling me that he is willing to consider my cousin application for his intrnship programme. Its a big relief here as my cousin still looking for his intrnship during this summer holiday. Thats the best I can do for him. How about my summer? well, my summer break will start mid july until end of september so,as usual, I already planned to go to eastern europe. Got 5 places we will be going in 15days, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Bratislava, and Budapest. This time my travelmate will be Nanim, a friend who study in Glasgow. She will spend her summer holidays at my place and I bet, there will be a lot of fun to do here together!

Last night, azfa, zohdi, afuk n me cook a special dish for dinner, Nasi Tomato. It was a great dish but the chicken was too hot. Its very funny when the boys started crying, their faces blushing red and sweating like crazy (like after running). When I asked everything ok? They quickly shooked their head and said it was great and yummy! haha..

Ok, rite now I am eating spagetthi bolognese..just a simple dishe for lunch. Hoping after this I will read and start my revision..Thats all folks..

A place called here

yes, I just done my habit of reading one book from my favourite author, Cecelia Ahern.
the title was "A place called here."
Sandy Shortt is a missing person's person that run an agency to find people that dissappeared. Until she found a place that all the person she looking for were in different world that named "here". She shocked and surprised because she knows all about them, their family and the people that she searching years ago are in this place. It was a touching story and sometimes, I wondered where the hell people go when they went missing. Its interesting to read this book because this Sandy Shortt found all her belonging in that place since she was 10. Same goes to all people she listed to search..all of them were there..

Another review I got from internet;

A Place Called Here

Cecelia Ahern

The magical new novel from the number 1 bestselling author of "PS, I Love You" and "Where Rainbows End".

Since Sandy Shortt's childhood schoolmate disappeared twenty years ago, Sandy has been obsessed with missing things. Finding becomes her goal - whether it's the odd sock that vanished in the washing machine, the car keys she misplaced in her rush to get to work or the graver issue of finding the people who vanish from their lives. Sandy dedicates her life to finding these missing people, offering devastated families a flicker of hope.

Jack Ruttle is one of those desperate people. It's been a year since his brother, Donal vanished into thin air and the sleepless nights and frantic days aren't getting any easier. Thinking Sandy Shortt could well be the answer to his prayers, he embarks on a quest to find her. But, when Sandy goes missing too, her search ends when she stumbles upon the place - and people - she's been looking for all of her life.

A world away from her loved ones and the home she ran from for so long, Sandy soon resorts to her old habit again, searching. Though this time, she is desperately trying to find her way home!

P/S: As I browse her name in google, actually she is the youngest daughter of Irish Prime Minister after her sister, married to Westlife singer..detail just click here.. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/fashion/main.jhtml?xml=/fashion/2007/12/30/st_ahern130.xml

Stratford-upon-avon (Shakespeare's Birthplace)

As we touched down at London Gatwick on Friday night, 28 March 2008, from Venice Marco Polo Airport, we catch our train to Birmingham and I felt sick..I just lay down in Zatil's room for the whole 2 days (Saturday and Sunday) Finally, I realized that I'd been never go around this city if I just stay in the room. On Monday, 31 March 2008, we decided to go to Shakespeare's Birthplace at Stratford-upon-avon (its about 1 hour journey from Birmingham train station)

The small peaceful town in Stratford and Shakespeare's house just along this building

We walked around enjoying the beautiful town and met this huge teddy bear! I want to bring it back..

The house where Shakespeare grew up. Its a small cottage with beautiful landscape.

Don't want to miss the chance posing in front of well-known poet's house..I remembered when I studied English literature, Sonnet 18 by William Shakespeare..till now, I don't really understand it..

We couldn't get in as we arrived a little big late..it was almost 5pm that day..

Harvard House - home of the founder Harvard University

My mom will be pround of me if I was the founder of Harvard University..(day dreaming again..)

SCOTLAND (Edinburgh-Loch Lomond-Glasgow)

Starting from my first day of easter holiday in University, early morning in Saturday, 15 March 2008, Zohdi, Afuk and me catch our flight from Cardiff to Glasgow at 7.15am and arrived about 9am. We visit our friends in Glasgow (this is my 2nd time in Glasgow) and spent about 3days and 2 nights there went to other places in Scotland. But this time, I had to be a tourist guide for the boys since it was my 2nd time to Edinburgh. Enough for me to write here as my cute little fingers could not afford to type an essay about my holiday for 2 weeks nonstop. Hope those pictures describe more than words rather than reading my bored blog..hehe..but, trust me, Scotland was so beautiful and its worth to revisit there again and again..I just falling in love with the scenes..enjoy! On Monday night 17 March 2008, I catch my plane to Birmingham to continue my journey to Paris and Italy with zatil..

Loch Lomond..this time, i got a professional photographer to took all the pictures in Scotland. so, I just grab and paste it here..thanks Mr Photographer! I really love it!
