When one of your family moved out after these years..


What a very super dupper sunny weekend i just had this week. I called my lovely mum, in the Sunday morning which I know, they were all having a great nasi goreng breakfast and teh tarik which is my dad favourite hot drink and honestly, I never liked it when everything goes with the condensed milk. So, mum will make two different type of drink, one is O and another is teh tarik. I'm glad I have a great understanding mum in the whole world. Mum told me everything going on for the whole week and the most shocking thing was, one of my favourite aunt and her family, will moving to North side peninsular. I kept asking mum why on earth suddenly they decided to move over there. I just succeed to gather mum by moving near to the happy big family with her beloved sisters,mum and brothers. But wait, one more thing is that, my aunt and family stayed in KL for almost half decade and this happened so quick. Directly I sent a message to my uncle and he reply yes this is for real. Its a risky and I believed that he and family had thinking about this carefully and wisely. Good luck and take care..I know after this, all of us had travel all the way to visit and spend the entire weekend and we'll still in touch no matter what..all the best from family and me.

As I browsing the internet while trying to fetch my good mood reading Basic Aerodynamic textbook(exam will be held next Friday!), suddenly I googled Cecelia Ahern and here we go, a new book from my favourite author will come out very soon in this month! Yeay!

About 9am, I woke up early and excitedly asked fai and Anim to accompany me to buy a new big girl thingy..Actually we went to same shop yesterday and with my pair of beautiful eyes, I saw a luxury and completely was not my part of life before this; a Brother sewing machine come with 23 type of stiches. It was absolutely cheap as the shop is making a massive closing down sale and I jot down the model of the machine. Back to my room, I quickly made a research about the model and called mum to heard her suggestion. Then, I made my mind at the same night, to buy the sewing machine this morning as there were only 3 left. So, here we are, a new sewing machine brand Brother model LS-2125 which costs me, GBP 59.99. Guest what, I already sew my torn pant and it works very well! Yeay!

Guitar Hero and me??

For the whole evening until just now, I dunno, maybe about half day I played a new Nintendo Wii game, Guitar Hero. Surprisingly, I finally managed to finished for the whole game and guess what, I did not saved the game. I was so frustrated because it was so damn hard to play a guitar (control actually)and need skillful fingers and to be alert to the cord given base on the underground music such as Gun n Roses, Metallica, Maiden etc.. So, I have to start all over again and then SAVE. It such a waste for me after killing the precious time until forgot to eat, etc..Well, anyhow I got a plenty of time right now during summer break until end of September.

I am so thankful to all my family members especially my aunts, Cik Ila and Cik Ima and not to forget to Uncle Man, who were care enough and concern to help about a massive problem that happened in my family. I am not blaming anybody here as I knew, everybody got their own problem and their own reason. Few days back, I almost wanted to blow up my mind thinking how to solve this problem as I was yet too far from my family when they need me. Just a non-stop phone call I made to make sure everything going to be fine. When responsible took place, I seem did not care about how tired I am, my worries affect me until I could not get sleep every night to think the best way to solve the problem. Yes, at first place I am blaming to a person that I cared so much about this matter but when thinking it back, after my aunt made a very good advise not to blame anybody as there will be a reason for anything that happened. As long as I have a very loving family, care to each other, is enough for me. Miss you and love you all always in my heart.

For one more day - Mitch Albom


Last night I finished a novel by Mitch Albom entitled For one more day. It was a story about a baseball player,Chick who decided to kill himself after a lot of terrible things happened in his life. But, when he involved in a car crash, he suddenly walked to his mom's house and surprised that his mother who died fews years ago, still inside the house and treat him very well, like every mother in the world did. Chick could not believed what he exactly saw. His mother, Posey, asked him to spent one day with her. Chick missed his mom very much and starting from that moment, he spent a day with his mom and he finally realized that he never stand up for his mom and so many things he done wrong to his mom before she died.

Albom's stories provoke us to ponder and question how we approach these relationships, either under truly extraordinary or utterly banal circumstances. "What could I have done better?" is the resonating question we think about regarding past relationships and "What can I do now?" spurs us to think about our present relationships.

Albom uses this formula in his most recent novel for one more day where he delves into the question "If you had one more day with someone who is no longer in your life, who would it be?" For the protagonist, Charles "Chick" Benetto, it is his mother Posey. We meet Chick in his mid fifties, a man who has carried ordinary and traumatic childhood experiences and expectations into his adulthood. A child of divorce and an absentee father, Chick and his sister are raised by their mother who is both an embarrassment and a compass to them both, especially Chick. As an adult, he has a briefly unsuccessful stint as a Major League baseball player and an even longer and more unsuccessful stint as a salesman.

Following Posey's death in his forties, Chick spirals into eight years of alcoholism and self doubt, which results in Chick leaving his family and losing contact with his daughter. With nothing left in his life, Chick decides to go back to town where he grew up to end it all. In the process, he ends up spending one more day with his mother. It is a remarkable day of discovering who Posey truly was and how her actions influenced his life in positive and negative ways.

The pace of back story intermingled with the present is true to Albom's style, giving the reader just enough information to grasp and propel them forward to the protagonist's next revelation. Successful character development is key in for one more day and the reader will not be disappointed by Albom's descriptions. They are vivid and tangible. Had Albom chosen a female protagonist and slightly different storyline, for one more day would have easily fallen into the "chick lit" category. By choosing Charles "Chick" Benetto as the main character and crafting such a layered and absorbing story line, Albom has successfully appealed to a diverse audience.

Thanks for the memories


What will happen if you received a blood from anonymous person that saved yourlife but not thats all, you suddenly can feel and knows everything that out of your control, change your dont's to do's like from vegetarian to not vegetarian, you received images thats nothing to do with you and yourlife? Its a big complicated right? But, when I finally finished read the latest novel, Thanks for the memories from Cecelia Ahern, which was an amazing and spectacular story that I've ever read before. Its a story that involved Joyce, whom lost her child while she's still pregnant, divorced with her husband and she decided to live with her dad, Thomas. Whole her life afterwards seems so different with her dad around when they went for a holiday for the first time over the sea, her dad in this amazing story makes the whole story full of sense of humour besides her best girl friends, Frankie and Kate which gave Joyce a strong relationship between each other. The miracle of this story is that, Joyce managed to find the donor, Justin that saved her life and they are met to each other.I myself admit that between me and my father, he seems so cheerful person even though we knew that he got a massive problem, but he manages to get thru all of it and still, he will be crazy, fun and very sincere in the family. Enjoy!

Yesterday, the 29th Olympic Games that are now officially began in Beijing, China on 8.8.08. I could not watched the opening ceremony as we don't have any ariel tv in the house so, today I just watched via youtube though it was not in full version (what I'd read in the news that the ceremony took about 1hour with the colourful firework and impressive performance..I like the big air balloon part). So overall, I can conclude the opening ceremony was so "chinese" and lovely..It makes the world watching to know more about China and the people with their great performance playing the drumbeat.

Not to forgot about our contigent that was lead by Cyclist Mohd Azizul Hasni Awang into the "Bird's Nest" Stadium during the opening ceremony of Beijing Olympics yesterday. This time Malaysia sent 33 athletes to the Olympic 29th that led by Chef-de-mission and two-time Olympian Datuk Ho Koh Chye, clad in orange and gold coloured Malay traditional outfits, out of the dug-out. And the spotlight was also on track cyclist and double Asian champion Azizul Hasni Awang, who carried the Jalur Gemilang proudly into the stadium.

The rest of the Malaysian athletes who trooped out along with the officials were swimmers Leung Chii Lin and Siow Yi Ting, divers Leong Mun Yee, Elizabeth Jimie, Pandelela Rinong and Bryan Nickson, cyclists Josiah Ng, Mohd Edrus Yunus and Rizal Tisin.

Malaysian sailor Kevin Lim, who is competing in his fourth Olympics, also took part in the opening ceremony. Kevin came all the way from the sailing host city of Qingdao, nearly 800km away from Beijing, along with his coach, Vedat Alpagut.

Potato Jacket


Last few years back (I think on March 2006) cik Ila and I made a potato jacket.. though it was so simple to make it,the taste was so interesting and yummy!!!

Maybe U should try it!!

The recipe:-

6 potato USA (yg panjang2 tu)

2 eggs

Chessedale

Flour

Black pepper

method:-

1) Clean the potato and "fork" all of the potato surface.

2) Bake the potato in microwave about 10-15 mins.

3) Cut into half.Spoon out the inside potato and don't damage the potato skin..Make sure the skin in good condition.

4) Then, mix the potato flesh with black pepper, eggs, and cheese delightly.

5) Fry the potato skin(di masukkan ke dlm tepung gandum cair) in deep fry.

6) Put in the mix potato inside the fried skin. Then baked it in the oven. Make sure the top of the potato is brown in color!

7) Enjoy your POTATO JACKET!!

Mahal harga potato jacket ni kat Kenny Rogers..it cost about RM 7.50..but not yummy as ours!!

Love kills??


As I browsing my country local newspaper website today, I was totally shocked about a big hot news about Malaysian girl that live here, I dunno, maybe as a student or foreigner worker as the news that I read got a slight different infos..anyway, it was about a revenge murder between 2 women that fighting for a man. When thinking it back, this horrible tragedy was totally insane to a young woman that killed another woman because of jealousy without knew what will happened next. Below was a short news reported from a trusted source:

Noor Azura Mohd-Yusoff, 22, a Malaysian prostitute in London, is accused of killing Evelyn Xing Xing Xie, 23, a graduate who was working in a karaoke bar.

Noor Azura, known as "Princess" in the trade, was apparently jealous of Evelyn Xing because of her relationship with Nor Azura's Vietnamese boyfriend TrachLon Gian, 26.

The decapitated body of Evelyn Xing was found in a laundry bag in the Thames marina in London, last April without its head and hands. Several week later, her head was found wrapped in a bin bag nearby.

So guys, please please think twice in whatever you do.. Just don't waste your precious time and avoid feeling regret later. Love yourself!

EURO 2008 in Zurich, Switzerland


Hi there, I am currently just came back from a big crowd in Zurich city center last night. It was a final match EURO 2008 between Espana and Deucthland, well, to be one of the crowd in the host country (actually the final game was in Vienna, Austria but it was host with Switzerland as well) so, we went to the Zurich city (HB) about 9.30pm (actually we were watching the first half game in the house but I insist to have a walk)and joined the crowd to watch live big screen on the street. Spain won the game for the first time and I really admit that, they deserved to win the game after watching their nice skill rather than Germany's. We return back to Oerlikon, (the place which my friend are staying)half past 11 at night. I just staying over here in Zurich for the weekend from 28-30 June 2008 and be back this morning.. Chiao

4 hours Cycling to Porth 10 May 2008











It was early Saturday, I didnt have any intention to do outdoor activity. I wake up early and went to the post office, and I realized it was a very nice hot weather. As I walked slowly, I dialed my friend's number, Imad , ask him to go for a cycling together. I had my breakfast at Faruk's house, a delicious nan bread with hot and sweet tea while waiting Imad to arrived. It had been a long time I never done an outdoor healthy activities since the last time we went for a cycling at Bukit Cerakah, Shah Alam with Nizar for about 3 hours! It was really fun enjoying the scene while cycling as I never came that place since I was 10. Ok, sometimes I did jog (err walking? after that, stopped by in the PKNS complex to have a dinner) after working hours at Shah Alam Lake. Well, that was about 2 years ago..before I quit my job. About 1 pm, after checking the condition of our bicycles, we started our journey..yeay! Ok, we started from Treforest,Pontypridd, Llantrisant, Trehafod, Barry Sidings, Rhondda Heritage Park and Porth. Then returned back to Treforest at 5pm. It was awesome experienced for my first time cycling in UK! Thanks to Imad who is willing to accompany me and taking my pictures! Cheers..

Rhondda Rotary Club International Night

live music and chilling time! me? I just taking pictures and seat at the corner while enjoying the music..

Last night on 24th April 2008, right after coming back from class as usual..(well, it was unusual for that particular gloomy raining day, all of us stood and wait at the bus stop for 1 and 1/2 hour from 8.30am...from wet cloth until i had a dried and hot skin..and the bus finally came)Guess what, in my class, only Imad n me that patient to keep waiting (it is because the exam that getting closer of course, if not, i will turn back to my room and sleep)So, gladly, we arrived at Barry College at 10.30am. Well, not much people turn up in class(just 3 students!anuar,imad and me) and its time for breakfast..(How happy I am if everyday the class will start at 10.30am which mean we go for a breakfast first and then continue a normal class..haha) After having a BIG breakfast like cheese n toast with baked beans,an egg,2 hash browns,a vege sausage and a delicious cup of expressochoc (which total GBP 2.25 and I knew, I will miss this kind of english breakfast when I return to my hometown in 3 years time), 3 of us having a chat, making jokes, laugh, doing some revision, and watching a hindi movie in class..crazy huh?? But at least I did open my book and read rather than sleep in the room and doing nothing..

Ok enough about what have I done during the whole day, suddenly I just remembered that the International Student Support Services got an event with the Rhondda Rotary Club at 7pm so, while hanging around at the college, I asked Imad to go together, to chill out and enjoy meeting the people there..and of course, free food and musics! It was so fun and I really enjoy the night and thanks to Mr President, who did a card trick to me..(well, at least it can make u feel better with this kind of social event, rite?)later after that, we gratefully thanks to the Rotarians, fetch the provided bus and off to campus at 11.00pm.

am I colour blind..??

In exam mood, I watched Malaysian made advert in youtube just now. It keep me smiling and thinking other things while struggling.. It would be nice if people around the world are just like him, a liltle normal school boy who doesn't care with whom he making friends or should I say girlfriend?? hehe.. Life is sweet like eating ice cream in the middle of hot, sweat 30 degrees afternoon right? Owh.. I really missed that good old time while driving and licking my favourite McDonald chocolate sundae on my way back home..(Please do not do this in your car, I already figure out this dangerous action will tend to distract your focus while driving!!hehe..) Anyway, enjoy this clip..I luv it soo much, a distraction on my study...

to be Silly in exam mood!

Its Sunday evening right now..I am so nervous about my exam..It will postpone to next Monday( not tomorrow!)phew..it doesn't mean that I have 2 more days extra..suppose to be on Friday but when it delay, I feel that my next weekend is disaster! last night, when I started to have a headache, I watched 2 movies nonstop, and suddenly I browsed ebay to take a look of any item or books that could make me interested to bid. Then, I bought a book (again), it cost me GBP 2.00, well nevermind, i can read it in my free time. Actually I really interested to buy a new handphone..and I aimed it such a long time ago..(I know, I'm not that nerd IT people who crazy for the new hi tech things, I just like the design, it such like, "kind of my type thingy") hehe..So, last night, I bought it thru internet.(typical internet shopping, just click, and it arrived at your door, simple and easy! but its dangerous to me, shopaholic..huhu)

Well, I will not tell you what kind of handphone it is..jeng jeng..Only one person knew about this and he really pissed off..because before this I told him I want to buy this handphone and he not agree at all. I don't care..I want it and no one can't stop me..hehe..silly me..Just wait until my next entry..Got to go..Exams exams...I want to pass in my exam..Help me!

Same me, just different zip code

Heard about this tagline before?? Well, this tagline, "same me,just different zip code" in a movie title Perfect Man. It was a story about a teenage girl (like me.hehe) kept moving from one place to another place if her mother, a single parent had a heart broken with another man. But, its different with my situation here (huh, I'm not the single mother that always been dumped with another man..huh..you cannot count on them, trust me..love is not to be hurt..if not,don't fall in love..) In my situation as a full time student that fully sponsored by the government, I realized, I am doing a BIG sacrifice not just to me, but to my beloved family (being the only daughter, trust me, is always hard to convinced my mom, that I'm okay here and ALWAYS be careful wherever I go, as the only big sister to my liltle brother, Ali, who always bullying me, begging for things every time I got salary,his face will turn like Puss in movie, Shrek), my responsible ( I know by quiting my previous job, I got a lot of things to pay and do still now, I separate my allowance earlier to pay them), my beloved and crazy friends (always hang out with them, watch movie, window shopping, jogging, swimming, eating char keteow at Kerinchi in the middle of the nite...etc).When I decided to pursue my study in United Kingdom, everything changed..you know..( I am not telling the whole story here..then I will be famous and rich author like Cecelia Ahern or Sophie Kinsella..hehe..kidding, but who knows right???)

Well, this is my choice and I have to face it..I left all of them in my country, but the memories remain here, in my heart..always..I know as time pass by, we are getting older and I missed a beautiful moment like my best friend wedding last february, my family moved to a new house in Kundang that I could not help to pack things, my brother bought a new car that I don't had a chance to have a ride while he drive, my aunt had operation that I could not visit her, just a video conference to say take care. And me, stuck here with different kind of people, new friends, old friends, being an international student miles away from a place called HOME. Yes, it is a big oppurtinity to be here. I've learn their culture, style, english accent, and everything..including to tour whole Europe that what I had be dreaming before (it can be done during my term break).

3 years abroad is not a big deal right? All I have to do is complete the course (oh I hate exams and assignments!), tour whole europe, and most important, shopping (that what I love most!) or (maybe if I meet a prince charming that I've been dreaming before, so why not?? hehe) Don't worry, this is the same me (maybe loss several kilos), just with different zip code.

Till then folks, I got Module 3 assignment and exam due on next week. Every miliseconds count..tick tock..

A Delightable Happy day!

For a while I did not update my blog here, I am very busy with exam that will held on Friday next week. Its Module 3, Electrical Fundamentals, sounds like easy subject right? but trust me, according to the previous result of this module, only 2 student pass the exam. Its scary right? well, thats another matter, what I should do is that, keep study hard, do the questions bank, read the book..bla.bla..(normal thing huh) but still, the question is quit tough..

Oh nevermind, today I am so lazy to go to class, its Monday blue, like Mike used to say to us..As I opened my email, I was so surprised that I received an email from my boss, telling me that he is willing to consider my cousin application for his intrnship programme. Its a big relief here as my cousin still looking for his intrnship during this summer holiday. Thats the best I can do for him. How about my summer? well, my summer break will start mid july until end of september so,as usual, I already planned to go to eastern europe. Got 5 places we will be going in 15days, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Bratislava, and Budapest. This time my travelmate will be Nanim, a friend who study in Glasgow. She will spend her summer holidays at my place and I bet, there will be a lot of fun to do here together!

Last night, azfa, zohdi, afuk n me cook a special dish for dinner, Nasi Tomato. It was a great dish but the chicken was too hot. Its very funny when the boys started crying, their faces blushing red and sweating like crazy (like after running). When I asked everything ok? They quickly shooked their head and said it was great and yummy! haha..

Ok, rite now I am eating spagetthi bolognese..just a simple dishe for lunch. Hoping after this I will read and start my revision..Thats all folks..

A place called here



yes, I just done my habit of reading one book from my favourite author, Cecelia Ahern.
the title was "A place called here."
Sandy Shortt is a missing person's person that run an agency to find people that dissappeared. Until she found a place that all the person she looking for were in different world that named "here". She shocked and surprised because she knows all about them, their family and the people that she searching years ago are in this place. It was a touching story and sometimes, I wondered where the hell people go when they went missing. Its interesting to read this book because this Sandy Shortt found all her belonging in that place since she was 10. Same goes to all people she listed to search..all of them were there..

Stratford-upon-avon (Shakespeare's Birthplace)


As we touched down at London Gatwick on Friday night, 28 March 2008, from Venice Marco Polo Airport, we catch our train to Birmingham and I felt sick..I just lay down in Zatil's room for the whole 2 days (Saturday and Sunday) Finally, I realized that I'd been never go around this city if I just stay in the room. On Monday, 31 March 2008, we decided to go to Shakespeare's Birthplace at Stratford-upon-avon (its about 1 hour journey from Birmingham train station)

We walked around enjoying the beautiful town and met this huge teddy bear! I want to bring it back..

The house where Shakespeare grew up. Its a small cottage with beautiful landscape.


Don't want to miss the chance posing in front of well-known poet's house..I remembered when I studied English literature, Sonnet 18 by William Shakespeare..till now, I don't really understand it..

We couldn't get in as we arrived a little big late..it was almost 5pm that day..
