Random bored speech yet meaningful

Teen-agers haven't changed much. They still grow up,leave home and get married. The big difference is that today they don't always do it in that order..hmmmmm ?!..:P
How about yours? I hope mine still in the order. No backup plan for that unless in other circumstances that might not overtake our life. Who knows right?

Why people must regret what had happened previously and did not look what must be repaired or correct the mistake in future. All they did, they make the same mistake and regret it later continuously. Go get a life and look forward. Interesting challenges await!

Forgot to spread to you all, my parents currently having a great autumn holiday in Melbourne, Australia for 10days and they are coming back to KL tomorrow! Yet and Ali, I hope both of you behave nicely at home.

Baby burnt on Brighton beach 'seriously injured'

Brighton beach on Sunday
The baby was on the beach on one of the hottest days of the year

A five-month-old boy was taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries after spending a day in the sun on Brighton beach.

The child was with his 29-year-old mother who was visiting the south coast from London on Sunday, one of the hottest days of the year.

Police community support officers intervened after they saw the baby suffering from sunburn.

The Royal Sussex Hospital said 40% of his body surface area was burnt.

The child was taken by ambulance to the Royal Sussex County Hospital as temperatures in the sun reached 25C (77F).

Sussex Police said no arrests had been made, while Metropolitan Police officers said they were not aware of the case.

'Risk of sunstroke'

A burns specialist from The Queen Victoria Hospital (QVH) in East Grinstead, West Sussex - who is consulting with the Royal Sussex - said the boy was in a stable condition on Tuesday, but his injuries could have been potentially life-threatening.

Baljit Dheansa, a consultant burns and plastics surgeon at the QVH's specialist burns unit, was called by the Royal Sussex for specialist advice on Sunday.

Baljit Dheansa is a consultant burns and plastics surgeon at the Queen Victoria Hospital specialist burns unit

He said the baby's skin had already started to show signs of blistering.

Mr Dheansa explained that the danger of blistering was that it could lead to the loss of body fluids.

In a five-month-old baby, this could ultimately lead to risks of dehydration, low blood pressure and kidney failure.

The baby boy remained in hospital on Tuesday.

NHS Brighton and Hove health promotion specialist Carolyn Syverson said: "Babies and young children are particularly at risk of sunburn and heatstroke.

"Very young children should be kept in the shade; older children, when out in the sun, should wear protective clothing including a hat, have high factor sun cream regularly applied and drink lots of fluids to stay safe and well."

She added: "People in this country tend to think of sunburn as something that happens on holiday, but most cases of sunburn happen in the UK rather than abroad."

Having a very short time of sleep since last night I was battling with the last coursework and definitely I am expecting not so high mark later. It was totally my fault as I didn't care much about the coursework which was given since last year I think or maybe couple of months before. Well who bloody care right? I have submitted it this morning about 9 am ish just passing through my housemate (they got class today not me. so after finish printing and binding the coursework, then passing to one of my housemate, I get on my bed and sleep.)

Well two of my friends, Nik and Afzan are leaving for good today. It was so much fun helping out (basically I just give them a ride for their luggages) and guys, thanks so much for the previous years staying around and willing to help during my presence here. Again sorry for all the causes troubling or hurting you guys before.

Right now I am biting a Subway foot long tuna sandwich with a cold lemonade for the evening 'teatime' but my eyes are so tired and begging me to stop eating. I guess I should stop here first folks. Till then..chiao!

Saturday outing, Scrabble and Curry noodle

Again in Saturday morning I wake up early as requested from Jijie and family for Danish birthday party preparation shopping, I am honoured to give them a hand. Beside sitting at home in extremely hot around 24 degree Celsius weather is not giving you so much choice rather than going out and do something fun!

To the first destination Bessemer Road Carboot sale and I bought myself Scrabble board game, this is my second Scrabble as the first one was not really satisfied me, it was suppose to have 4 racks but the first one came with 3 racks, no wonder why they selling it for 50pence. This time before making my mind to buy a new used Scrabble, I double checked with the inside condition checking there is enough racks, the board is in good condition and so on. Moment later I agreed to pay 75pence for my second Scrabble board game. Well, Scrabble is my best board game because since we were kids, my parents teach us how to play with words making it fun by calculating who can build a very long words with highest marks. It is not necessarily by making a longer words you might have a highest mark, it is basically how you think to make use the board game which is designed every square of the word tiles have it owns mark plus you have to figure out the board is marked with different award points. And I love every each of it! (Ok enough babbling about Scrabble, I might have to ask Hasbro pay me for the short advertisement!)

So back to Bessemer Road carboot story, I bought a long Mark and Spencers skirt and one ladies top which cost me 50pence each. On my way back to carpark, my eyes catching a white clean fleece and the lady selling it for 1 pound which is again, I hardly cannot resist it.

Off we went to Global food store and Masala Bazaar buying all the preparation needed for tomorrow big event, Danish one year old birthday party. Around 2 pm, as the host promise since yesterday she wanted to cook Curry Noodle, I had myself 3 round of the delicious meal and still I am craving for it right now. Thanks to hus, her hubby and the housemates!

Around 4pm as the sun really shines like in the afternoon while me starting to feel dizzy, full and sleepy, we went back home..I have to go folks, one assignment is waiting which due this coming Monday before 10am.

Summer shopping time!

My class finished very early today, by noon all of us dismiss and I had a ride with Anuar (as usual when class cancelled suddenly). So, when Anuar left me at Cardiff which its been ages being in this city, I went for a quick shopping in Primark searching a nice cheap black tight pants to wear with my knee length brown skirt or might be just leave it with a long knee length top..Nice eh?
I got the exact tight as hers! And lyn, regarding photos u asked or mention recently, some of the nicest pix were taken from a semi pro photographer, so have to ask their permission to publish and we are talking about copyright girl! My previous entry which I pasted few photos during our outing are my fav so I cannot resist myself! Anyway, will try paste any random nice pix taken by me ok?

p/s: it was a very very unimaginable hot (16 deg Celsius)today as I was in one store, while looking around anything that might interest me,all of sudden my head spinning and I felt blank. Maybe it is because I had not enough sugar in my blood or summer is really coming???

Exam sucks & Naked

Today we had another exam, Module 9 Human Factor.. How was it? Well, it was totally sucks!! Need to catch another dateline for assignment this coming Friday. Urgh.. The same time few moments before the exam started, result from previous exam was announced. I hate this..your concentration for upcoming exam will be disappeared because of the unconscious damn result. Tapi nak buat camana kan..Memang dah print out markah dah dalam letter tu. Tak guna menyesal kemudian hari..cewah!

ko nak gambar sangat kan lyn? amik ni..tu belum lagi aku uplod gambar daring..ehehhe

Enough about my sisa2 rubbish student life ni..Dah 2 malam berturut2 panas kian melanda bumi UK ni..both 2 nights I slept in naked under the duvet..baru bleh tidur kelenaan..hishh..Sekarang ni jam 12 mlam baru sudah makan malam yg sangat berat, nasi puteh+ayam masak merah+telur dadar+air teh o lemon.Masuk jek bilik panas gila rasa badan..And again me with my underwear (just myself ok!)wondering around in the room..(Ada aku mandi tengah2 malam ni kang..)

Speaking about naked, yes I admit, tinggal di bumi asing ni, berlambak2 mat saleh and minah saleh naked berkeliaran (to be nice, whenever they drunk or unconscious) malam la especially. Belum lagi ke pantai2 berdekatan di kala musim panas, lagi la penat aku ni cuci mata tengok mamat2 hensem ni..ehehe..yang perempuan tu, biasala..topless..ingat lagi time summer lepas, aku ke tesco berdekatan. sekali ada 2 3 orang minah saleh ni pakai bikini 2 pieces tu berselisihan bahu dengan aku kat pintu tesco..so that is normal here..memang tak disangkal kepanasan nya itu.see, i told ya!

Ah, before I forgot, my VIVA VOCE for the dissertation will on 27th May 2010 at 1pm..Wish me luck guys!

Saturday outing and shopping

Early sunny Saturday, three of us, the housemates went to the Bessemer Carboot and I bought myself a Kenwood juice maker for 50pence (what a bargain, an opportunity that could not be missed! so I grab it), an airbed £2 and a board game, Scrabble for 50pence (this is my wishlist for 3 years and I found it a few months before leaving!) This time I was not buying any novels or books because I am trying not to be so shopaholic kind girl, well actually there were massive books to buy, but none of them interest me.

Next destination we went to Global food store and Masala Bazaar (an Asian stuffs or groceries were sold here) for a month food stock in the house. Actually this is our monthly routine doing household shopping and I will be the driver to the destination, so my job was simple. All the loading and unloading thingy, as well as the shopping list and the payment stuff will be my housemates task. See how grateful I am staying with 3 guys and all of them are so nice and understanding people. I never complaining about them at all as we live in peace!

After having lunch at Titos, a restaurant which serves nice meal from Somali land owner, we went to the Bute Park, a park nearby to the Cardiff Castle for a spring blossom photo shooting! Best gila taking photos with a sunshine and 17 degrees weather!

undomestic goddess

Yup true...seeing the title and then back at me, dilla the girl who cannot duduk diam type. Today suprisingly I woke up early at 7.30am and about 10am later, me being undosmetic goddess tidy up the whole house including hoovering, (mind you, houses here people like to cover all the floor with carpet and you can't even see any bare tiles except in the kitchen area.) I mean ALL, stairs, living room, rooms, toilet and kitchen (both these area we put new IKEA carpet, baru feeling sket nak mandi n masak kan?) After hoovering, mopping, clean the bath tub, install back the carpet and 2 hours later, all done! Phew..it was very exciting new type of exercise for me!

After taking shower while me still in my bathrobe searching new pjs in the wardrobe, I heard my housemate talking to each other; That time Kimi was searching his house key and asking everyone in the house..(Kimi dengan kalut2 mencari barang hilang..macam anak kucing kehilangan mak)

Ticth : Kimi, jangan sepah-sepahkan rumah. Dilla dah kemas la

Kimi : Oh ye ke..patut la cantik rumah kita ni..

I just smiled and thank god I have a very understanding house mates. Love you all dear!

so the Brown has resigned...will Cameron handle it well?

David and Samantha Cameron wave from 10 Downing Street after Mr Cameron became prime minister today. Photograph: Lewis Whyld/PA
David Cameron is the UK's new prime minister, bringing the Conservatives back into power after 13 years.
Leader of Britain's ruling Labour Party, Gordon Brown, stands with his wife Sarah as he announces his resignation as Prime Minister, outside of 10 Downing Street in London on May 11, 2010.

Just few minutes ago, as I read the BBC news and witnessing the LIVE cast of Gordon Brown stepping down from the Prime Minister office and Labour party as he tender his resignation to the Queen. Next in line new 12th Prime Minister who in young age, 43, David Cameron from Conservative party step in to the 10 Downing Street as officially the new Prime Minister of United Kingdom. I was amazed at this time, about 8.30 pm, they immediately appointed the new PM after last Thursday election where no party wins the majority and they had hung parliament until few moments ago.

Not guilty as charged

A good news for everyone I hope. An innocent people who is proved to be not guilty well it is obviously shows. Any rumours spread in Malaysia and here are totally not true. So the responsible reporter who spread the annoying shame news to the world, please clear his name as soon as possible. Thank god with a very supportive friends, family, the sponsorship, government as well with their prayers, this innocent guy is totally NOT GUILTY AS CHARGED.

Face the truth if you know you are right.

My precious weekend..yet miserable..

I was away for few days during weekend and everyone at my place starting wondering where I M.I.A lately. It was true then, I was missing in action without any news spread even to my house mates. No..of course not a 'bawak diri' thingy or broken heart (which I bloody didn't care of)..It just a break away or shall I say that I desperately need a different atmosphere so that I can make my head clear from final year stuff back here.

Friday 7May2010
I took the early morning bus at 4am to London and straight to Brighton arriving at 11.30 am. Thanks to Mr P willing to sent me to the bus station early in the morning! Ok, stop right here. We had to reverse back when I arrived London Victoria Coach Station before heading to Brighton, around 7.30am while waiting for the next coach at 9am, I bought a cuppa hot chocolate at the coffee shop. As I was excited having my first sip early in the damn cold morning, suddenly a guy in suit attire with the briefcase, mind you he is somewhere from UAE country came to me and asked something like this as far as I remembered, 'Do you speak arabic?' Yeah that is the normal question that will popped out because I am wearing the scarf and they claiming me is look alike arabic people. There it goes my mood in the morning, I had to have a chit chat with this annoying guy..Believe me when someone is trying to make a conversation with you especially when it was 7.30am, all I can do was smiling and answered his question with polite.(Shit, can't you see me in my sleepy mode?) Back to this arabian guy, he is bloody trying to flirt with me..Teringat sebelum2 ni aku baca someone blog 2 3 hari sebelum tu kisah kegatalan arabian guy and shit this thing happen to me now! He is british citizen staying at Leeds and he showed me his passport. So the conversations went very long as I really get tired of all these things. Berani ok he asked me to forget my trip to Brighton while he cancelled his appointment with the embassy so that both of us can messing around in London and accompanying him back to Leeds...oh my god! Tak abih2 la duk cakap,'You look very very beautiful and nice person I've ever met.' yang aku pun satu kan, bila dia duk tanya,' You married?', yang aku ni jawab la sejujur lembu kan, 'No, I am not married yet.' Tapi serious shit aku tak boleh jawab aku dah kahwin, dah terang2 jari2 aku ni xde cincin..not even one! Well, selama kami berbual2 tu, aku dah start tengok jam, padahal baru 1/2jam duduk berbual..dalam hati memang menyesal gila duk layan mamat ni..Tapi orang2 arab ni pernah la time aku kat Cairo dulu ustaz2 duk cakap kita kena cakap bebaik dengan diorang. So, teringat kan pesan ustaz ni aku pun dengan muka menggoda cakap to this guy, 'Listen, I really have to go now as I am catching my coach to Brighton and why not you straight away go to the embassy and settle important matter first.' Finally after taking my number afterwards, he let me go and he wish to meet me again soon very soon. I just smiled at him (yeah, I will never answered your call!) and off I went to the toilet without looking back. Memang berzaman gila aku kat toilet, nak menantikan jam 9am so that I will straight go into the coach daripada menghadap orang2 macam ni.

Ok the whole day in Brighton went well after the scariest thing happened to me early morning today and I am heading back to London around 5pm. Arriving London at 7.30pm and while waiting my coach back to Cardiff at 9pm, I was desperately hungry and quickly went to nearby Kebab restaurant. Here we go again, I ordered my meal to eat in and while I am eating alone, this Kebab guy came to me as he was cleaning the table and start a conversation with me. Asking me where I from and bla bla..He suddenly said,'I am looking for a wife and I am really like you dear..You look so niceee' Dang! What I can do is that, I smiling and laughing at him. He is a guy I recon from 'negara padang pasir' and all of these joke or whatever u say totally make me sick!!

Kali ketiga aku kena tanya soklan2 macam ni later, SERIOUSly Im gonna buy ring and wear it where ever I go alone..Oh my god, please kuatkan semangat insan mu yang lemah ni...

Twice I had been proposed for a marriage in one day with strangers (oh please orang padang pasir ni...) Muka aku ni ada cop tanda looking for a husband ke??

Arrived safely at home about 1.30am, and I told all the incident to Mr F and Mr P when they picked me up from the station. They laughed crazily as I seriously want to wear ring after this!

Saturday 8may2010

Again after 4 hours sleep, we (Mr N, Mr P, Ms A and me) went to Silverstone circuit as I got an interview for the GP event this coming summer. It just a temporary position as steward or assistance for the big event and I hope I will get this job. After the interview finished about 3pm, we heading to our former lecturer at previous college MIAT at Milton Keynes about 30-50mins drive from Silverstone. Well, we had really a great time meeting Mr and Mrs W family and Mrs W cook loads delicious food! yummy! We stay a night there as Mrs W insisted not to let us go back late night.

Sunday 9 may 2010

We woke up early and still in Milton Keynes in Mrs W residence. We went to nearby carboot Lidlington and about 1.30pm we heading back home and had a few hours stop at Oxford on our way back. We finally back home safe at 9.30pm after a very long weekend and I really thrilled having fun to counteract the London incident last Friday.

I don't date guys that I just meet randomly. I don't feel comfortable meeting strangers.

MOT day..passed for the second time!

Messy had new tyre change and alignment (mak aih kotor benar kereta aku ni!)

the first MOT test which Messy failed (see the thing like wire from inside Messy's exhaust to the computer reading? that thing failed my emission test!)

Deepest gratitude to the Almighty after my Messy passed just now after failed for the first time MOT test last week. Just a few minor things I've not notice regarding nearside tyre being worn out (not my mistake because of the tyre worn inside not outside which can see thru naked eyes) and 2 tests regarding exhaust emission carbon excessive during idle and 2nd idle engine running.

Because of the MOT test, I've invested about more than hundred pound to make sure it pass for the second time, let see what have I done so far;

1) Tyre worn - replaced new budget tyre - £35
2) Bila dah ganti tayar baru sebiji belah depan tu, mula la senget aku nye stereng kan, allignment tracking - £15
3) MOT charge - £30
4) Exhaust emmision, the workshop suggested for oil change servicing - £65 (mmg sengaja nk tekan duit aku kan)
5) Fuel additive (hopely hope it will reduced the emmision, which I bet it did a great job!) - £4
6) Brake bulb (time ni aku nampak lampu merah kat belakang tak nyala, nasib baik tester tu rabun colour..ehehe) - £2.50
7) Oleh kerana dah beli fuel additive tu, one of the requirement dia nak kena full kan tangki minyak, baru berkesan, so sewenang2 nya aku p petrol pump isi full blast - £35

Haih...these are the most common things ever happened to me since I had my first car back in 2006. Car and me are really in good chemistry..You never know what will happen next..Then goes away my dream trip to Athens for my graduation treat...Hancur lebur impian aku..Oh Athens!

Ironman 2 and him..him..and him

Last night was a movie night where bunch of us, final year lads including me, watched an action movie Ironman 2.How it was? Well, I can say SO-SO..at first hour I already looking at my wristwatch (see how boring it was?) and 1/2 hour later I starting to yawn..It was totally OK..not too bad, but the storyline was straight forward..I dunno what is the message of the story actually..

him??did i mention him? oh yes him..its been weeks we never have a kind of chit chat until I realized he was actually being funny which is not! Layan je la..

£5.20 spent for So-So movie last night..naseb baik ada duit lebih2..so layan je la kan..

Dealing with shipping company is like bullshit!

No, it is not my car to ship..just personal belonging only!

Yes it is true indeed..Dealing with people especially when we knew they are new in their business. I wake up early after a very annoying ringing call disturb my lovely sweet dream this morning..Damn I hate to pretend making a normal voice when you wake up at sudden just only to receive the call..Shit!

Ok I can accept people call or greet me as Puan..as matter of fact they did not know what is my status or maybe other people you greet as Cik they corrected you as Puan..whatever..(did my voice sounds like Puan to you?)

And one more thing, when any client asks for a 20 footer container shipping door to door service, you do not simply make assumption our thingy for 3 years can fit in 6 0r 7 (sizing around 1footx1footx1foot) normal boxes. Wutta the hell??? I already explained in the email I NEED A BLOODY CONTAINER, not 7 boxes!! oh my god..all these conversations make me sick..

Then keep holding the price and trying not to tell the exact price for the service with the reason, we are following currency rate...Takkan la esok nak shipping, hari ni baru nak bagitau the price kan? Thats what I keep telling the useless company handling this bloody shipping..We really need to budget and get ready the money early. Kalau nak mark up price for yourself pun at least bagi range harga..minimum to maximum..susah sangat ke??? Yang sebuk2 tanya duk mana la, susah la kalau tak da orang angkat2 barang, rumah sewa ke student accomodation..Ini yang naik kan darah aku pagi2 sunny ni...I had to explain I knew how to solve this small problem and this is not your problem at all..Bukan aku suruh korang tolong angkat kan? omg..omg..(very the sound of orang yang baru setup company kan??)

Puas cakap I need the quotation for the door to door service container 20 footer..thats it..Nak tolong orang melayu konon..ni la gaya nya..

Which one is your sleep style?

  • Fetus position - A whopping 41% of participants sleep in this curled-up manner. Women are twice as likely to rest like this and it is listed as the most common position. These sleepers are said to have a tough exterior but are still sensitive and may appear to be shy but warm up quickly.
  • Log position - If you sleep on your side with both arms down, you are a social, easy-going person who is trusting, sometimes to the point of being gullible. The study showed 15% of people sleep like a log.
  • Yearner position - A close third is the side-lying position with both arms out in front of the body, with 13% of partipants sleeping like this. Yearners are noted to be open-minded and still cynical, suspicious, and stubborn about sticking to decisions once they are made.
  • Soldier position - These sleepers lie on their backs with arms down and kept close to the body. This 8% study is said to be reserved, quiet, without fuss, and hold themselves and others to a high standard. Soldier sleepers have a higher likelihood for snoring due to the flat-back position, which may not cause them to wake up often but may result in a less restful night's sleep.
  • Freefall position - Those people who lie on their bellies with arms under or wrapped around a pillow with head turned to the side, make up 7% of the population studied. Freefallers are brash, outgoing, and are very uncomfortable with criticism.
  • Starfish position - Sleepers who lie on their backs with arms up near their head or the pillow account for 5% of participants. These people are good listeners, helpful, and are uncomfortable being the center of attention. People who sleep in starfish position are more likely to snore and to suffer from a poor night's sleep more often.
If you think you are one of those people who move through all of these positions, that's not likely to really be the case. Idzikowski said the research reveals most people stay in the same position all night and only 5% lay differently night by night. Also interesting is that the study showed only one in ten people cover their bodies entirely with a blanket, with most people exposing an arm, leg, or both feet.
